I have been fooled many times before thinking ordering the salad is a much healthier option than say the burger, then to find out later I should have just ordered the burger because it was in fact less calories than the salad. Often I just order what I want, but when you’re eating a salad you want to think you’re being somewhat healthy right? It turns out a lot of the time the dressing is packed with tons of fat and calories, and that’s just not cool.
I am of the belief that any dressing is better homemade. So I made two of my salad dressing desires come true. I made a healthy version of one of my favorite dressings at home.
Caesar Salad with Fried Lemons and Parmesan Crisps
1 garlic, minced
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 C Yogurt
1 T. Mayo
1 t worcestershire sauce
1 T pepper
olive oil to combine
