The Best Granola Bars

David and I eat granola bars like you have never seen. We are usually on the go in the morning and the most convenient source of fuel is grabbing a pre-made, individually wrapped bar. I decided to test out a few options at the store and here are the results:

OVERALL WINNERS:

Best overall: Belvita Golden Oat- Best overall taste, texture and I kept wanting to come back for more, plus it is very filling so I usually eat 2 biscuits and then eat the other 2 as a snack later.

Most Unique:KIND Strong Roasted Jalapeno- this one is definitely for people who don’t like sweet in the morning/snack. Really unique (and good) flavor.

Best for you: Mojo Sweet and Salty Trail Mix Bar Peanut Butter Pretzel- It has the least amount of sugar and contains a good amount of protein. If I was hiking and needed a snack this is definitely what I would take.

Least Favorite: Nature Valley Breakfast Biscuits, Honey- Tasted very fake and the texture was not right, plus why would you stray from the belvita?

Honorable Mention: KIND Plus Cranberry Almond + Antioxidants- Seriously the best texture, this would come in first if I was craving something with more texture and nuts.
